By calling the new mandate pathetic, Coelho vented complaints from those who voted for the PT, including those who only wanted to defeat Jair Bolsonaro (PL). This is the case of occasional supporters such as former Senator Tasso Jereissati (PSDB-CE) and former president of Novo João Amoêdo.

Allies such as former governor Roberto Requião (PT-PR) and senator Cid Gomes (PDT-CE) also went public to attack aspects such as the fragility of the government program and Lula’s war against the Central Bank over the interest rate. fees.

Among those who declare having voted for Lula, the percentages are, respectively, 71%, 24% and 3%.

Lula has done so far for the country less than expected in the view of 1 in 4 people who claim to have voted for him (25%). He did what was predicted in the opinion of 37% and exceeded the expectation for 34%.

“They are demanding things from this government that they never demanded from others. Just having a government with a humanist vision and that is recovering important social programs is already a lot”, he says.
