Lula receives Lira to thank the approval of the tax reform and the Carf in the Chamber

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) thanked this Friday (7) the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), for approving the government’s economic guidelines. The representative received Lira, party leaders and ministers at the Alvorada Palace.
“I met with the president of the Chamber, Arthur Lira, and representatives of the deputies at the end of this Friday afternoon, to thank them for the important votes of the week. Important projects not for me or for the government, but for Brazil”, said Lula in the twitter.
The meeting took place after the Chamber approved this week the tax reform and the project that favors the government in the event of a tie in the judgments of the Tax Appeals Administration Council (Carf). According to Lira, the vote on the new fiscal framework, which was changed in the Senate and had to return to the Chamber, will take place in August.
Also participating in the meeting were ministers Alexandre Padilha (Institutional Relations) and Rui Costa (Civil Staff); and deputies José Guimarães (PT-CE), Elmar Nascimento (União-BA), Zeca Dirceu (PT-PR), Aureo Ribeiro (Solidariedade-RJ), Fábio Macedo (Podemos-MA), Jandira Feghali (PCdoB-RJ) , Antonio Brito (PSD-BA), André Fufuca (PP-MA), Isnaldo Bulhões (MDB-AL), Luís Tibé (Avante-MG), Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), Aguinaldo Ribeiro (PP-PB), Reginaldo Lopes (PT-MG), Túlio Gadêlha (Rede-PE); Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP); and Aliel Machado (PV-PR).
