President Lula (PT) cited the changes he had to make at the Esplanada dos Ministérios in 2023 at a ministerial meeting held this week.
According to reports, at the end of the meeting, the Chief Executive said that the changes made were difficult, but that he sees them as something natural in politics — and that everyone should have this perception.
At that moment, he would have made a joke, stating that in 2026, when ministers ask to leave their positions to run for elections, he will also have to take it naturally.
Despite having addressed the issue at the meeting, the assessment of government members is that the PT member should not make any changes at this time.
