President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) dismissed and/or appointed military personnel to ten sectors of the Armed Forces, with the names and departments published this Thursday (25) in the Official Gazette (see full text).

There are five dismissals classified as ex officio for other positions, made at the discretion of the public administration or at the request of the server himself, and another five appointments “by need of the service”, together with Minister José Múcio Monteiro, of Defense.

Among the changes are the transfer of the brother of the president of the CPI of the MST in the state of Roraima to the Southern Military Command and of former members of the Institutional Security Cabinet (GSI).

See the changes below:

  • General Marcelo Lorenzini Zucco – brother of the president of the CPI of the MST, Lieutenant Colonel Zucco, was exonerated from the position of Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade of the Jungle, in Boa Vista (RR), becoming attached to the Southern Military Command.
  • General Ricardo José Nigri – was one of the main agents of the Institutional Security Office (GSI), he was appointed head of the Planning and Management Office of the Department of Science and Technology.
  • General Marcelo Goñes Sabbá de Alencar – recently exonerated from the GSI, he was appointed 2nd Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army.
  • General Mario Eduardo Moura Sassone – named new Chief of Staff of the Eastern Military Command, leaving the division’s Operations Coordination Center.
  • Army General Eduardo Antonio Fernandes – He was appointed military adviser to the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations, in New York, for two years.
  • Brigadier Max Cintra Moreira – appointed head of the Executive Governance Office of the Air Force General Staff.
  • Brigadier Márlio Concidera Estebanez – leaves the Executive Governance Office of the Air Force General Staff and takes up the position of head of the Strategic Management Center of the Cyber ​​Defense Command.
  • General Paulo Sergio Reis Filho – leaves the position of head of the Cyber ​​Defense Center and becomes commander of Communications and Electronic Warfare of the Army.
  • General Paulo Edson Santa Barba – leaves the post of Chief of Staff of the Eastern Military Command, in Rio de Janeiro, to be commander of the 1st Jungle Infantry Brigade.
  • General Luís Carlos Soares – leaves the position of head of the Planning and Management Office of the Department of Science and Technology and becomes head of the Cyber ​​Defense Center.
