Lucinha Lins celebrates turning 70 after spending two months in hospital: ‘I was very scared’

With more than 50 years of career, Lucinha Lins celebrated the arrival of 70, on the last day 9, with plenty of reasons to celebrate. She overcame a serious health problem that left her hospitalized for two months at the end of last year. In addition, the actress celebrates an emerald wedding, that is, five decades of marriage, with her husband, Cláudio Tovar.

“I deal with aging as best I can. It’s inevitable, right? Some days I feel 112 years old, some days I feel 15, some days I feel 70. I think I’m aging well. At the end of the year, I had a very violent scare. I got recurrent pancreatitis that put me in the hospital for two months. I was very scared”, said the actress to “Caras”.

After the scare, Lucinha Lins returned with the show “The Old Girls”, currently playing in São Paulo. Full of plans, including two films to shoot, the actress says that there is no secret to such a long marriage:

“There’s no secret, there’s affection, there’s friendship, there’s joy. There are days when he wants to throw me out the window, I also want to throw him, but it’s just that moment. It’s just okay who doesn’t count. I’m a big fan of my husband, I think he’s a genius. The admiration we have for each other consolidates our love”.
