List of decrees that mention gender ideology circulates among deputies

After signs of rapprochement between the Frente Parlamentar Evangélica (FPE) and the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, a list with 10 PT decrees with references to gender ideology began to circulate among the deputies of the bench. The action tries to show that this approach is dangerous and can harm Christian principles.
According to the list — received by Gazeta do Povo by an FPE interlocutor —, the list includes decrees such as nº 11,430, published on March 8 of this year. In it, a minimum percentage of public vacancies for women victims of domestic violence is established with information in its Art. 3 that the vacancies “include trans women, transvestites and other possibilities of the female gender”.
Likewise, in decree 11,443, of March 21, a minimum percentage is established for black people in commission positions and positions of trust in the federal public administration, and, for this, “all possibilities of the female gender will be computed” ( Article 3, item 5).
Another decree cited is No. 11,447, also dated March 21, which institutes the Aquilomba Brasil Program by the Ministry of Racial Equality. In this decree, the first principle presented by the program is “the transversality of gender and race in public policies aimed at the quilombola population” (Art. 3, item I).
The list continues with quotes from seven other decrees that make some reference to “promoting gender equality”, “guaranteeing gender parity” or “gender transversality”.
According to the FPE interlocutor interviewed by Gazeta do Povo, “the evangelical group, for the most part, is totally against these decrees, and its members are already articulating individually to support them”.
Signs of rapprochement with the Lula government
In addition, he claims that “the majority of the bench does not want to approach the PT government”, as this “hurts the values in which we believe”, he said, referring to the attempt at proximity announced by the new leader of the FPE, deputy Silas Chamber (Republicanos-AM). Before, the Evangelical Parliamentary Front was chaired by deputy Eli Borges (PL-TO), linked to former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
In total, the bench currently has 132 deputies and 14 senators, enough strength to influence any vote.
Gazeta do Povo tried to contact the current president of the FPE, but has not yet received a response.
