Lawyer’s Day: professionals are honored in session at Alap – News of Brazil

On the initiative of the President of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), congresswoman Alliny Serrão (União), the employees of the House who are also lawyers and guests participated this Thursday (10) in the ordinary session held in the plenary Deputy Dalto Martins for the passage of Lawyer’s Day, celebrated on August 11 and, later, honored with a breakfast.
On that occasion, Motions of Applause were delivered to more than twenty defenders of the law. “A special moment in the lives of the lawyers who received this just tribute as recognition from this House of Laws for the work that helps to improve our society”highlighted the president.
In addition to the president of the House, the president of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) – Amapá Section, Auriney Brito; Attorney General of the Public Ministry of Amapá (MP-AP), Ivana Cei, Public Defender General of Amapá, José Rodrigues dos Santos Neto and the Deputy Attorney General of the State of Amapá, Narson Galeno.
State deputy Rodolfo Vale, one of the three parliamentarians who are lawyers, opened the speeches from the tribune by stating that the legislative houses and every representative in the country owe a lot to Brazilian law.
The Attorney General of the Public Ministry of Amapá (MP-AP), Ivana Cei, in his speech, he highlighted Alap’s initiative. “Today you recognized a career that is really of paramount importance, it is part of the justice system, but many times the lawyer works daily and does not have the due recognition”commented.
The vice-president of the Bar Association, Amapá section, Patrícia de Almeida Barbosa, spoke on behalf of the lawyers registered with the OAB-AP. Among those honored, they received the Motion of Applause Larissa Chaves Tork de Oliveira, on the occasion represented by the judge Carlos Tork; Paola Julien dos Santos, represented by her daughter Antonella Julien and her father, Paulo Santos; Narson Galeno, Taísa Mendonça, Antônio Aparecido, Emmanuel Dante, Israelton Zuniga, Galliano Cei, Renata Castro, Marcelo Leal, Eugênio Santos Fonseca, Jorge Wagner Costa, Thiago Lima, and also the president of the Amapá sectional OAB, Auriney Brito; president of Caixa dos Advogados do Amapá, Mauro Dias Júnior; vice-president of OAB/Amapá, Patrícia de Almeida Barbosa; José Rodrigues Neto, General Public Defender; Elson Auzier, Kupper Souza Viana, Lorena Trayce Dantas, Sâmea Riane Tavares and Verlane Célia Amorim.
