Manaus (AM) – Fighter Kalebe Henrique Sartarelli Pereira was champion in the Super Heavyweight and Absolute 14/15 years old category, in the Amazonas Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup, which took place this Saturday (4). Kalebe finished the two fights he had ahead of him, with a dominant and aggressive performance that earned him two gold medals and a prize of R$150.
The champion had already won last week, in the second edition of Copa Tatames Fight Shop, held at the Bergão gym, in São Jorge, West Zone of the capital. He is excited about his performance. “Very happy with my result. I had two fights and managed to submit both. Very happy with my performance too. This is the second championship of the year and I still have the whole year ahead of me”, said the green belt.
The athlete’s father, Francisco de Assis, who is also a fighter, is an old-school black belt and organizer of the events Norte Leste Fight (MMA), Copa Zona Leste (Jiu-Jitsu) and also leader of the Chiquinho Top Team academy, in Novo Aleixo says he is looking forward to the upcoming events.
