State deputy Júnior Favacho, president of the Agriculture and Supply Commission (CAB) of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), is in São Paulo, participating in Intermodal 2024, considered the largest logistics fair in Latin America. The edition began this Tuesday, 5th, and runs until March 7th.

The objective is to seek partnerships and investments that boost agribusiness in Amapá. As a parliamentarian, he recognizes the importance of efficient logistics for the state’s economic development, especially with regard to the flow of agricultural production through the Port of Santana.

During the first two days of the event, the deputy focused his efforts on identifying strategic partners that can boost the transport and distribution of local agricultural products. Furthermore, he took the opportunity to strengthen ties with potential investors interested in Amapá, aiming to strengthen infrastructure and boost the region’s socioeconomic development.

“When we talk about economic development and job creation, I dream of Amapá producing food, grains and wealth that will need to be disposed of. And we will flow through the Port of Santana, which will need to be prepared for this demand. That is why we are at the largest logistics fair in Latin America, looking for partners that we want to take to discover our potential and who will help us develop the state”, he said.

The parliamentarian’s presence at Intermodal 2024 highlights Amapá’s interest in promoting partnerships and attracting investments that boost the agricultural sector. Júnior Favacho took advantage of the opportunity to talk to businesspeople in the logistics sector and exchange experiences that can be implemented in the state.

“Our goal is to always contribute and place the state in a prominent place, where it deserves to be, especially in the agricultural sector, which is one of our greatest potentials. I am sure that our participation in Intermodal 2024 will be able to bring many positive results. Let’s keep working, because I am convinced that 2024 will be a very promising and prosperous year for Amapá”, concluded.

From March 5th to 7th, at São Paulo Expo, in the capital of São Paulo, more than 500 exhibiting brands from 15 countries will be gathered, representing the logistics, intralogistics, technology, cargo transport and foreign trade sectors in Latin America, covering all sectors. modes of transport.

Intermodal is recognized nationally and internationally for presenting solutions for the entire logistics chain, from end to end. The expectation is to receive more than 43 thousand professionals during the three days of the event.
