Directly from São Paulo, where he is dedicated to attracting investors for Amapá, state deputy Júnior Favacho participated remotely in the ordinary session of Wednesday, 28th, of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amapá (Alap).

In his speech, the parliamentarian reinforced the need for the state government to prioritize land regularization and simplify the environmental licensing process for rural producers.

Junior Favacho, current president of Alap’s Agriculture and Supply Commission (CAB), highlighted the importance of joint action between the State Executive and the Assembly in approving new laws that speed up these procedures, directly benefiting agriculture and agribusiness in the state.

The deputy believes that, for 2024, this should be the main agenda of the Amapá political class, aiming to transform Amapá into a significant producing state.

“I appeal to everyone to overcome the challenges in the land regularization agenda and environmental licensing, which often generate discomfort due to their delay. We have resources, and Brazil believes in Amapá. Soon, we will begin importing fertilizers for our producers, representing a significant advance for the sector. Therefore, we cannot let bureaucracy impede our progress”said Júnior Favacho.

Startup20

The deputy Junior Favacho also took advantage of his speech to praise the holding of the Startup20 event in Amapá, mentioning that he suggested to the vice-governor Teles Junior for the state government to organize a similar event focused on agribusiness. “It was a great success, moving hotels and restaurants and generating jobs and income for the state. We need to hold an event of this magnitude for the agricultural sector, showing our potential to the world and opening our state to new investors.”
