Emphasizing that the Tax Reform being discussed in the National Congress is a system adopted by most countries, deputy Josenildo Abrantes (PDT-AP) explains that the tangle of taxes now existing in Brazil will be simplified into a single tax, for real in all states, and also in only one, at the federal government level.
Josenildo spoke this Tuesday morning, the 11th, on the LuizMeloEntrevista program (Diário FM 90.9). “The reform unifies the legislation, that is, there will be a single legislation to be valid throughout Brazil”, he reinforced.
The parliamentarian assured that, with the reform, in some segments there will be a reduction in the tax burden, but there will be no increase in the case of other sectors.
“The Agrarian Reform will also give rise to a national basic food basket, with zero taxes, which, like almost all items in the new system of charges, will still be regulated in a supplementary law.
Josenildo Abrantes said that the vice-governor Teles Júnior and the state secretary of finance, Jesus Vidal, were fundamental in the amendment that he and his colleague deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB-AP) made for the permanence and institutionalization of the Free Trade Area of Macapá and Santana.
Deputy Josenildo reported that Teles Júnior and Jesus Vidal went to Brasília to follow the vote on the Tax Reform, and ended up advising him and Deputy Acácio Favacho, including drafting the amendment that kept the ALCMS in force and also including it in the country’s constitutional text.
