Last weekend, the 2023 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship took place in Barueri (SP) and the Bruno Sena was the highlight of the competition and won a gold medal in the bantamweight brown belt category up to 57.50 Kg.
To reach the highest place on the podium, bruno overcame five opponents by submission and became champion. The result took the man from Amapá to first place in the male adult national ranking in his category, with 135 points.
In a social network, bruno he claims to be happy with the victory and that every day he is trying to be better to reach his goals. “It is difficult to express in words what I feel right now. One day I dreamed of conquering the world and making a living from this sport and now I feel that I’m on the right path. I just have to thank God for being with me on and off the mats. […] I strive daily to achieve my goals and dreams and I am absolutely sure that this preparation was the best ever, where I trained a lot in my technical, physical and, mainly, my mental part, which for me made all the difference”he wrote.
With the positive result in the national competition, the man from Amapá is preparing for the World Cup, which will take place in the United States, between the 1st and 4th of June.
In addition to the Brazilian Championship, bruno he has also won several other titles, such as three South Brazilian titles, one South American title, seven AJP Tour titles, two Open Games in Santa Catarina, among others.
