JEB’s 2023: Amapá wins four medals in Judo – News of Brazil

This Saturday (28) Amapá reached the podium of the Brazilian School Games (JEB’s) 2023, which is taking place in Brasília. In total there were four medals that came in the judo discipline.
The two silver medals were won by Riquelme Ledo, from Escola Estadual Nilton Balieiro, and Ludmyla Chagas, from Escola Estadual José de Anchieta.
The other two medals won were bronze with athletes Jaiane Couto, from Escola Estadual Prof. Antônia Silva Santos, and Jennifer Souza, from Lauro Chaves State School.
The Brazilian School Games continue with competitions until November 9th, in Brasília, and Amapá still has a chance of obtaining more medals in individual and collective competitions.
Amapá will participate in athletics, adapted athletics, badminton, basketball, cycling, futsal, handball, judo, karate, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball, wrestling and chess. The event is a qualifier for the South American Championships, which will take place in December in Chile.
