Japan and Spain give a show and are guaranteed in the quarterfinals

Japan It is Spain qualified for the quarterfinals of the Women’s World Cup of 2023 in the early hours of this Saturday (5). Both teams scored. The Spanish team sent Switzerland home with the elastic score of 5 to 1 and the Japanese beat Norway by 3 to 1.

There is nothing to stop the Japanese team. With the best attack and the best defense of the group stage, Japan claimed another victim on the way to the world title. Norway tried hard and, apparently, even offered some danger, but the Japanese never lost control of the game.
Japan opened the scoring at 15 minutes, but conceded the tie at 20 of the first half. In the second stage, Risa Shimizu left the Japanese team ahead. When Norway began to outline a possible reaction, the team led by Futoshi Ikeda did what they do best – they did not give their opponents chances and killed the match when necessary.
Midfielder Hinata Miyazawa, just 23 years old, scored her first goal in the match, her fifth in the competition, and not only isolated herself in the top scorer of the tournament but also guaranteed Japan’s qualification for the quarterfinals. Now, the Asian team awaits the winner of the match between Sweden and the United States.
