The first lady, Rosângela da Silva, known as Janja, filed a lawsuit for compensation for moral damages against the lifelong counselor of Corinthians Manoel Ramos Evangelista, known as Mané da Carne, in a publication in which he referred to the sociologist as ” whore”.
“Let’s wait these years with the bearded frog and whore Janja and the forty thieves together”, wrote the adviser in a publication on the social network in December, which has since been deleted.
Janja asks that he be sentenced to pay no less than R$50,000 in moral damages, in addition to publicly retracting the comments and publishing the full sentence on his social networks. The action was filed on Tuesday (17), at the Court of Justice of São Paulo.
The action also points to another comment made by Evangelista on the networks in which he criticizes Janja again: “I happened to lie” and “Future first lady only if it’s your sewage, garbage. Orange of the bearded frog”.
In the action, Janja is represented by three female lawyers: Valeska Zanin Martins, Maria de Lourdes Lopes and Júlia Marques.
In a note, Valeska claims that the sociologist was the victim of a sexist and misogynist attack. “That’s why we hope that the Justice condemns the aggressor to repair the damage caused and to publicly retract”, says the lawyer.
“In addition to hurting the author’s honor and image as a person, it hurt her image as a woman, by trying to demean all the fundamental roles she plays in society, labeling her, in other words, as a ‘president’s whore'”, say the lawyers in the document.
THE Sheet Evangelista said he was unhappy with the comment and apologized to the first lady for the “untruth” he published on the networks.
“I was unhappy with that comment, it does not follow what I think, and I apologize for the untruth that I posted. I was nervous about certain comments and the singers who took them to the president’s inauguration”, he says, in a note.
“Once again I apologize. As for the process, I actually have to answer for my actions.”
When contacted, Corinthians says it will not comment on the matter.
