Timão misses three kicks, loses to Ituano on penalties and is out of the Paulistão semifinal

In normal time, the Corinthians tied with Ituano by 1 to 1 this Sunday afternoon (12), at Neo Química Arena, for the quarterfinals of the Paulistan. With the score even, the match ended up decided on penalties, and Galo de Itu converted seven charges — against Timão’s six — and won a place in the semifinal of the State.

The authors of the goals with the ball rolling were Raí Ramos and Paulinho, both in the first stage. Fábio Santos, Fagner and Gil wasted their penalties, while Felipe Saraiva closed the charges by guaranteeing the classification of the team from the interior of São Paulo.
