Itaú will allocate R$ 30 million to sports-related projects – 07/17/2023 – Panel SA

Itaú announces, this week, the opening of registrations for the Itaú Sport notice, an initiative to promote projects that use sports as a tool for social impact. R$ 30 million will be allocated in this year’s edition, according to the bank.

Applications will be open until the 11th of August. Civil society organizations (OSCs), non-profit, private, regularized and with at least two years of existence may participate. Preference will be given to projects in the Midwest, North and Northeast regions.

According to Itaú, the proposals must have the practice of sports as a backdrop to include comprehensive education, diversity, training and social training.

Last year, Itaú Sport allocated R$14 million to 36 projects. This is the fifth edition of the project.
