Sex in old age is a reality. Approximately, people aged 60 or over have, on average, one sexual relationship per week, according to research carried out by the University of Michigan, in the United States.
On the other hand, young people have been having less sex.
According to information from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Department of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, United States, 31% of men and 19% of women aged 18 to 24 reported no having had relationships in the 12 months preceding the research.
