Irish party invades bars and restaurants in the city

The St. Patrick’s Day is an Irish festival in honor of the Patron Saint of the Catholic Church in Ireland, Saint Patrick. The first festival in honor of the saint was in 1996 and, since then, the celebration has conquered the world. And of course, here in Curitiba, bars and restaurants prepare themed events for the date.

If you want to get into this Irish mood, it’s good to understand some symbolism: the three-leaf clover represents the Holy Trinity (and good luck) and the green color was adopted to honor the landscapes of Ireland.

And just like in the country of origin, the events in Curitiba will be filled with lots of music, food and drink. Check out where to celebrate St. Patrick’s day in the city:

porks

The Porks – Porco & Chope network promotes the 2nd edition of the national festival of St. Patrick’s Porks, in all its units. In all, the house intends to sell more than 100,000 liters of its famous Pilsen Verde draft beer and anyone who goes to character will win a free glass of draft beer.

In addition, the event will be the stage for live concerts, with rock and blues bands, with no artistic cover charge or admission. On the menu, several hamburgers and snacks that take pork as the protagonist.

The St. Patrick’s Porks takes place March 17-19. Information on the network’s official Instagram.

Hard Rock Cafe Curitiba

Until March 19, Hard Rock Cafe Curitiba gets the Irish vibe with U2 covers, green draft beer and the entire server team dressed in green and in a festive vibe. The special desserts for the date are the Hot Fudge Brownie customized for St Patrick’s (R$69.90) and the Irish Coffee (R$32.90) with the Buy One Get One Free promotion.
