The most recent round of the national Ipec poll shows President Lula (PT) with 37% approval (excellent or good) and 28% disapproval (bad or terrible). Another 32% consider regular management.
The survey reveals stability in relation to the previous survey, carried out in April. Approval was 39% (now it fluctuated two points down, within the margin of error) and disapproval was at 26% (it fluctuated two points higher this time). Those who considered the PT government regular were 30%.
The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points. Ipec interviewed 2,000 people from June 1st to 5th in 127 municipalities in the country.
In March, when Ipec carried out the first round in the current government, the difference between the approval and disapproval groups was 17 percentage points, an index that now appears at 9 points.
