Manaus (AM) – With the mediation of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam), under the presidency of state deputy Roberto Cidade (UB), the State Government announced this Monday (6), the call for 1,704 candidates approved in competitions in the Public Security area.

“Governor Wilson Lima made an extremely important announcement today for Public Security in our State. A security competition had not been held for over 10 years. With the sustainability of the Legislative Assembly, with the work together, we are making this announcement that benefits Manaus and the entire interior of Amazonas. The call for 1,704 public candidates reduces the staffing deficit throughout the state of Amazonas. Today we had an important advance in Public Security in Amazonas”,

said Deputy Cidade.

Among those called up are those approved for the Amazonas Military Police (PMAM); Amazonas Military Fire Department (CBMAM); Civil Police of Amazonas (PCAM); State Department of Transit of Amazonas (Detran-AM); Public Security Secretariat (SSP/AM); and Technical-Scientific Police Department (DPTC), linked to SSP/AM.

According to Governor Wilson Lima, those approved must present, this November, the necessary documents for taking office. They must be called up in December and then the training course will begin, which should last six months. The governor gave an example of the salary values ​​for the competitions.

“Today, we are taking another important step. PM salaries will be R$2,700 for student soldiers and R$7,400 for health professionals and officers. Once they are formed, this value doubles. For firefighters, the salary for a student soldier is R$2,700 and for officers, R$7,400. PM and Firefighter students will participate in the training course, while civil police officers will be hired immediately. Investigators and clerks start with a salary of R$12,900 and delegates with a salary of R$21,200. At Detran, the inspector will receive a salary of R$2,300; Experts, examiners and traffic agents will receive a salary of R$5,500. We are also calling for Scientific Technical Police Department with a starting salary of R$16,900”,

Graduation course

The Training Course for those approved in the Military Police and Fire Department competition starts on December 1st. Candidates for the Civil Police, Detran, Scientific Technical Police Department and SSP-AM will be hired from December 1st.

“We are going to start the process of collecting the documentation, the evaluation process that should last this month of November and from November 29th we will have activities to gather the troops and start providing the first information. From December 1st, the course will start, which should last until the second half of 2024”,
