This Monday (19) the Campeonato Amapaense de Futebol entered its last round of the qualifying phase. The first game of the seventh round was between the leader, Independente, and Macapá, at Estádio Zerão. Carcará da Vila Maia won 2×1 against Leão da Fab and guaranteed 100% success in the competition.

The result of the match further qualified Independente for the semifinals of the competition. Macapá, on the other hand, was parked in fifth place, with eight points, which left it out of the G4 and the championship.

The two teams created good plays and chances for goals in the first half, but Independente opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a goal from outside the area, scored by Fabinho. In the second half, Macapá reacted and left everything tied, at 4 minutes, with Acará. Shortly before the referee blew the final whistle, Wandinho scored Carcará’s second winning goal.

Independente still has one less game against Trem, valid for the sixth round of the competition. The match will be on July 5, at 8 pm, at Estádio Zerão. Macapá says goodbye to the competition.
