In Manaus, the “Caravana das Letras” project holds writing classes in public schools

Manaus (AM) – With the expectation of democratizing access to knowledge, the social project Caravana das Letras, in partnership with the SuperTexto project, started a marathon of writing classes in public schools in Manaus.

Students from the Homero de Miranda Leão State School, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood, in the North Zone, received, this Friday (18), teacher Lívia Sá to learn about textual production, in the action that bears the name “Route of Approval”.

Coordinator of the Caravana das Letras project, conceived by federal deputy Amom Mandel (Cidadania-AM), writer Pedro K. Calheiros defines the action as an important process to provide students with access to knowledge beyond what is traditionally taught in the classroom.

“The Route of Approval is yet another initiative by Caravana das Letras, but this time thinking about entrance exams and the challenges of the Enem. The initiative is important to democratize access to knowledge”,

declared.

In addition, Calheiros declared that the action is also equalized through the project’s social networks.

Focusing on the National High School Examination (Enem), classes are given to senior students. Creator of the SuperText project, Professor Lívia explained that the main objective of the initiative is to boost student learning and prepare them for the university entrance exams.

According to the teacher, in addition to textual production techniques, students will also be presented with the importance of philosophical and sociological contextualization.

“The greatest importance of the action is to democratize access to quality textual production, so that public school students are able to compete with equality, in the sense of access to theories, to the technique of textual production, to what must be put into production. , so that it can have not only a technical approach, but also an approach in the philosophical and sociological sense of the problematic issue that is being addressed there”,

explained.

According to the teacher, other classes will be organized in public schools in Manaus in the coming weeks.

“I believe that the Route of Approval comes exactly to fill this gap in education”,

declared.

In addition, Lívia explained that textual production permeates theory, knowledge of the world, control of time and emotions.
