In Manaus, ‘Pequeno gênio’ goes viral on social media when it presents Ponta Negra in English

Manaus (AM) – 11-year-old prodigy, Luan Gabriel, became a sensation on social media by showing off his knowledge of the English language. In a video, the young man presented the Christmas decorations at the Ponta Negra tourist complex, in Manaus, inviting his followers to discover Amazonas.

His notoriety grew even further when he participated in the “Little Geniuses” section on the Domingão do Huck program, where he demonstrated mathematical skills and comprehensive knowledge in several areas.

Recently, the Amazonas Court issued a decision determining that the State University of Amazonas (UEA) reserve a place for Luan Aguiar Gama in the Mathematics Degree course, considering his approval in the entrance exam.

The determination, signed by judge Marcelo Vieira during the judicial shift, not only secures the vacancy, but also requires the State to carry out an academic advancement exam for Luan within 45 days.

Luan revealed that he started learning English at the age of three, right after learning to read and write in Portuguese. Her studies began with online videos, in which she spent hours absorbing the language, initially focusing on the numbers 1 to 100 in English. Furthermore, the young man used a free application to improve his foreign language skills.

At the age of 10, Luan decided to test his knowledge by taking the entrance exam for the first time. Surprisingly, he obtained 41.6 points in the first phase and 50.72 in the second, reaching 13th position in the final classification of those approved, with a total score of 46.19. His impressive achievement now places him on the Mathematics course at UEA, an achievement that promises to inspire other talented young people in pursuit of their academic goals.
