In a six-goal game, Grêmio drew 3-3 with Bragantino this Sunday (7) for the Brazilian Championship, at the Arena. Then, however, came the backlash. In the 10th minute, Grêmio tied the game with a great goal by Luis Suárez. Bitello made the cross, Bragantino’s defense pushed away, but the Uruguayan striker, with the ball still in the air, sent a bomb and tied the game at 2 to 2. It was Suárez’s first goal in the Brasileirão.
At 16 minutes, Grêmio turned the match around, to the delight of the Tricolor crowd. Everton Galdino received at the end and advanced towards the area. He dribbled past two markers and hit the corner, scoring the third goal at the Arena.
When it looked like Tricolor’s victory was guaranteed, Bragantino tied the game. At 45 minutes, Juninho Capixaba received on the left and crossed low. The ball reached striker Thiago Borbas, who hit Gabriel’s foot and tied the game. In the next round, on Wednesday (10), Grêmio will face Palmeiras, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.
