In a meeting with general defenders, Flávio Dino makes himself available to the Defenders

Meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, in Brasília
Brasilia DF) – This Thursday (13), the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, received in Brasilia 23 general public defenders from different parts of the country to discuss the strengthening of Ombudsmen.
The institutional agenda was requested by the National Council of Defenders and Public Defenders General (Condege), which asked for support from the Ministry of Justice for the construction of policies that consolidate the presence of Defenders in all counties of Brazil.
The general public defender of Amazonas, Ricardo Paiva, was present at the meeting, and said that the Ministry of Justice can help open doors to strengthen the institutions’ performance.
The president of Condege, general public defender for Roraima Oleno Matos, presented guidelines that are of interest to the Ombudsmen and that deal, in particular, with the growth of the institution and the increase in the capacity to serve the underprivileged population.
Minister Flávio Dino, in turn, proved to be an enthusiast of the Public Defender’s service delivery model, and made his portfolio available for partnerships and institutional support in the National Congress.
