amazon – The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) extended registration for the public tender with 7,548 temporary vacancies for the positions of Research and Mapping Agent (APM) and Collection and Quality Supervisor (SCQ). For Amazonas, 180 vacancies will be offered for APM and 19 for SCQ.

Interested parties have until Sunday (23) to register on the site controles.ibfc.org.br. The participation fee is BRL 42.20 for both positions.

Of the total opportunities, 6,742 are for APM, which requires a complete high school level, and 806 are for SCQ, which, in addition to high school, requires a CNH (National Driver’s License) of at least category B. There are reservations for black and brown people and people with disabilities.

The remuneration is BRL 1,387.50 for an agent and BRL 3,100 for a supervisor. There are also benefits such as food allowance (R$ 658), transport allowance and pre-school allowance. In both cases, the expected duration of the contract is up to one year, which may be extended for another two years.

The working day will be eight hours a day and 40 hours a week for both functions. Entries will close this Wednesday (19).

The selection process will have an objective test, of an eliminatory and classifying nature, with a duration of three and a half hours. The exam will be held on September 17. The result of the selection processes is scheduled for October 23.

An SCQ manages the work carried out in the IBGE agencies, according to the schedule foreseen for the agency’s research. The tasks of an APM involve visits to homes and establishments to collect data.

Most of the vacancies foreseen are in the state of São Paulo. For APM, there are 724 stations in SP and for SQM, 95.

The federal government announced on Tuesday (18) the opening of new public tenders for federal agencies and the hiring of candidates approved in selections already carried out. According to the Minister of Management and Innovation in Public Services, Esther Dweck, there will be 3,026 vacancies in 20 bodies at a cost of R$ 1.15 billion.

Of this total, 2,480 vacancies will come from new competitions and 546 will be appointments from selections that have already taken place. Entry salaries for new jobs range from around R$6,000 to R$21,000. IBGE is the body with the most posts, 895. This time, the vacancies will be permanent.

In all, 20 bodies will be able to hold new tenders. Among them are regulatory agencies, the National Treasury, CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission), Central Bank and the Ministry of Justice. Vacancies will also be opened in two transversal careers.
