High school courses open enrollment for Manaus and Envira; find out how to participate

There will be 1720 places for theater, dance, music and visual arts courses

The Lyceum of Arts and Crafts Claudio Santoro opens the online pre-registration format for new students at the Sambadrome headquarters, at the Padre Pedro Vignola and Magdalena Arce Daou community centers. On April 8th and 9th, from 8am, places will be available for theater, visual arts, dance, music and theater courses, with registration only on the Culture Portal.

Enrollment continues in person, on April 8th and 9th, at the units of the Elderly Living Center (Ceci) Aparecida and in the municipality of Envira (1028 kilometers from Manaus). Classes are scheduled to start on April 22nd.

In total, 1,720 free registrations will be offered, with the largest number for the dance course (701 places), followed by theater (374), music (359) and visual arts (286). Depending on the course and shift (morning, afternoon and evening), enrollment covers ages from 5 to over 50.

The Claudio Santoro Arts and Crafts School is promoted by the State Government and administered by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy. The institution’s director, Davi Nunes, highlights the significant number of vacancies and pays attention to the importance of candidates pre-registering online. “The new vacancies are being offered so that the public can understand that arts education is continuous. They are short, long-term courses and just access our link (on the Culture Portal) to get in touch with all the offers”, said the director.

“We have dance, ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, visual art, painting, drawing. This is also the case in theater, theater initiation and other courses, so it is the opportunity for registrations”, reinforces Davi, highlighting the need, not only for candidates to register, but to continue the courses. “Whoever is going to write really completes the course. It’s better for him to come here, enroll, but for him to continue until the end of the course to get the results”, he concludes.

Enrollment

Registration confirmation will be between April 15th and 17th, at the registration center chosen by the candidate, carrying copies of the following documents: ID, proof of residence, school declaration or proof of education. Minors must present a copy of their birth certificate, proof of education and be duly accompanied by their legal guardians with copies of their ID and proof of residence.

There will also be a waiting list for candidates who did not get a place. If the course is available, the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios Claudio Santoro will contact you via telephone until May 3rd.
