The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho (MDB), stated at an event at COP28, the UN conference on climate change, in Dubai, that the state will implement environmental education in the public school curriculum.
The statements were made at an event attended by Unicef’s executive director, Catherine Russell.
“This measure is a tool for basic transformation and brings a new perspective of awareness about land use to the new generation of Pará”, stated the governor in his speech.
