Guto eases Coritiba’s draw with Londrina

Coritiba is no longer 100% successful in the Paraná Championship after drawing with London 3-3, this Thursday (25), at Estádio do Café. Even without winning, the coach Guto Ferreira valued the result and highlighted the superior numbers that the team had in the match.
“We will never be happy when we don’t win in any game. But we have to be consistent with our moment… We are in a moment of construction, of improvements. In terms of numbers, we had an overwhelming advantage, but why weren’t we able to take the win home? Because there were some important points in which we have to have greater control. But we are aware that we are on the right path”, said the coach after the game.

Alviverde started behind on the scoreboard, but managed to turn things around in the second half, with goals from Robson, who became the State’s top scorer, and Figueiredo. Afterwards, Tubarão managed to draw and return to the lead. In the final stretch, Wesley Pomba managed to equalize for Coxa.
Guto cited the counterattack chances that Coxa gave to the home team and the inattention when the alviverde team scored as points for improvement in the team.
“I think it goes through some factors, a little more maturity as a team. Adjustments are made based on this maturity. And they lack time, training and conversations. The next [jogo] the tendency is for them to be more attentive. But we won’t have time to train. We’re trying to build in matches and in the little time we work on a daily basis.” What we run [de equipe] Today was important for the sequence that lies ahead”, he explained.
With the draw, Coxa lost the chance to lead Paranaense and now occupies third place, with seven points.
Alviverde’s next game is against Operário-PR, this Sunday (26), at 6:30 pm, at Couto Pereira.
