The GSI (Institutional Security Office) concluded the open investigations to determine the involvement of its members in the January 8 attacks.

The investigations are now being analyzed by the portfolio’s executive secretary, General Corrêa Filho, who will carry out the analysis and make any additions he deems necessary.

As the investigation was requested by the Minister of the STF (Federal Supreme Court) Alexandre de Moraes in the scope of the investigations of anti-democratic acts, which runs in secrecy, the conclusions will also be sent to the court in a confidential manner.

Inquiries were opened at the end of January, days after the attacks on the headquarters of the Three Powers. According to the GSI minister, general Marcos Amaro, they had to be postponed because there were several changes in the ministry. The executive secretary, for example, only took office on May 22.

General Marcius Cardoso Netto, who was the Presidential Security and Coordination Secretary and responsible for the investigations, was also exonerated.
