“We are interested in having companies investing in Amapá, our objective is to build an ecosystem that generates jobs and income for our population. We know our potential and now we are going to create alternatives so that the business group can invest in the state. With external capital comes a chain of services and opportunities for the community”highlighted the governor.

The investors presented the company’s dynamics, possible economic assets and also talked about how the State can create alternatives to attract international partnerships. The meeting also had the participation of the Legislative Assembly, which was represented by the state deputy Junior Favacho.

The Chinese automaker has not yet entered the Brazilian market but intends to start investing later this year. One of the company’s points is to show quality and prove that the models can serve any market.

“Brazil is one of the markets that attracts us a lot because it is large and diverse. Amapá, in particular, positions us as a company that will meet global demands, such as investing in areas with a green economy, aligning development and environmental preservation”said the senior executive of the company GAC Motor, Alex Zhou.

At the meeting it was also decided that a team from the Government of Amapá will be created, which will deal with the administrative details for a possible investment by the company in the State.
