The governor Clecio Luis, accompanied by the state secretary of health, Silvana Vedovelli, visited the Emergency Hospital of Macapá, on the morning of this Friday, 31st, to inaugurate the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the establishment.
The new ICU It has ten intensive beds. Before, the space in the Emergency Hospital had only four semi-intensive beds. The advisory of the state government estimates that there was an increase of 150% in the capacity of the intensive care unit.
Isolation room with bathroom, male and female multidisciplinary rest room, nursing station, purging room, bathrooms and hemodialysis equipment for more specific cases are existing equipment in the ICU inaugurated by the governor.
In an interview, Clecio Luis registered that he has been in the position of state manager for 90 days, but already fulfilling an important phase of his commitment to change the health of the state. “We are also working at the Children and Adolescents Hospital and at Hcal, which will soon receive 60 more beds”, pointed out the governor.
