Government website on democracy launched on 1/8 records more than 6 thousand hits – 01/14/2024 – Panel

The website Digital Repository for the Construction of the Museum of Democracy, launched by the Lula (PT) government on Monday (8), in the wake of the initiatives that mark one year since the coup attacks on January 8, registered 6,766 hits until Friday (12) .
The portal is an initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Ibram (Brazilian Institute of Museums) and aims to provide subsidies for the construction of the Museum of Democracy, which was promised by Minister Margareth Menezes two days after the invasion of the headquarters of the three Powers in Brasília.
The day the portal recorded the highest access was on Monday itself, with 3,524 visits.
Such as Sheet showed, the website promotes a portal critical of Lava Jato, with references to “collusion”, “political bias” and “spectacularization” of the operation that led to the president being arrested, in a section that lists memory projects prepared by civil society.
There is also a section dedicated to 8/1, a space that brings together testimonies from museum representatives and points of memory on the topic of democracy and one focused on social participation.
