Fest Verão Iratapuru, which will take place the following month, in Laranjal do Jari, will have sport fishing as a highlight during the program. The event will have the support of the Amapá government.
To map and catalog the species in the Iratapuru Reserve, a team from the State Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and a group of academics from the State University of Amapá (Ueap) were delegated.
The festival, which is promoted by the City of Laranjal do Jari, will have support from the secretariat that will offer, in addition to training, the necessary technical assistance for the responsible team.
The festival aims to boost sport fishing, not just as a sport, but also as an activity to promote and promote ecological awareness, and tourist, ecological and sustainable development in the Jari region.
