Government says that 1,700 Brazilians in Israel have already asked to return

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 1,700 Brazilians who are in Israel have already expressed their desire to return to Brazil.
Repatriation requests are made through the Embassy in Tel Aviv’s online form. According to the government, most of the requests came from tourists staying in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The attack by the terrorist group Hamas against Israel this weekend has already killed 1,200 people and triggered yet another war in the Middle East.
To date, Itamaraty has recorded the disappearance of three Brazilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that candidates for repatriation will be accommodated on priority lists. Initially, priority should be given to residents of Brazil without air tickets.

Overflights and landings of aircraft intended for the repatriation of Brazilians have already been authorized by the Israeli government.
The first aircraft highlighted for repatriation is in Rome, Italy. The second Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane intended to rescue Brazilians took off at around 4 pm this Monday (9) from Brasília airport. The aircraft will also go to Rome airport, where it will await instructions to continue on a mission to Israel.
