Government proposes PL of Complementary Regime to school secretaries and coordinators

Manaus (AM) – The Government of Amazonas forwarded to the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam) Bill of Law (PL) that proposes the guarantee of the complementary regime for district and regional coordinators of education and, also, to the school secretaries of the Secretary of State for Education and Sports School. In this way, with the approval, it will be allowed to extend the workday of these professionals by up to 40 hours, according to the need of the body and starting to receive proportional to the hours worked in addition.

Until then, the Positions, Careers and Remuneration Plan (PCCR) provided for a supplementary regime only for teachers, pedagogues and civil servants acting as school managers and educational management advisors. The amendment proposed in the PL modifies § 1 of article 4 of Law n.º 3.951, of November 4, 2013, amended by Law n.º 5.524, of July 7, 2021.

The PL also changes the remuneration of the servants of the Secretary of Education by granting a base date in the amount of 8%, to the servants of the occupational groups of the Magisterium, professionals of superior, medium and fundamental level, established in the plan of positions.

The proposals that make up the PL consolidate the commitments already announced by the Government of Amazonas with education servants. The project has already been filed with Aleam and will follow the procedures of the Legislative branch.

Readjusts from March 1, 2023, in the percentage of 8%, referring to the base date of 2022, the values ​​of education professionals, including teachers and pedagogues (20h and 40h); higher education (librarian, nutritionist, statistician, social worker, psychologist, higher education technician, accountant, speech therapist and engineer), medium (technical and operational assistant) and fundamental (administrative assistant, library assistant, operational assistant, general services assistant , drivers, cooks and guards).

Complementary Regime

Classroom teachers, pedagogues assigned to the school and public servants assigned to the functions of District Coordinator and Regional Education Coordinator, School Manager and Educational Management Advisor, with a work schedule of 20 hours a week, as well as designated civil servants for the role of School Secretary, with a work schedule of 30 hours a week, they may work on a supplementary basis, up to a maximum of 40 hours a week, according to the needs of the Education Department, acting in their respective functions and understanding, for this purpose, salary proportional to the hours worked, on the amount corresponding to the reference and class in which he is in the career, according to regulation.
