The Government of São Paulo signed two contracts with non-requirement for bidding with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), an agency linked to the World Bank, in exchange for advisory and consulting services to prepare the privatization of Sabesp and the concession of CPTM train lines.

Only for the service related to the transport company, the state will pay R$ 71,291,893.17, in an agreement valid for two years and the possibility of being renewed for the same period, as shown in the Panel SA column. The extract from the contract term was published in the Official Gazette this Thursday (13).

In the case of Sabesp, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) did not inform the value of the valid contract for the Sabesp project.

In a note, the press office of the Secretariat for Partnerships in Investments states that IFC has “recognized performance in the sector of modeling public sector partnerships with the private sector in several countries and with extensive experience in structuring large infrastructure projects “.

In a published material fact, Sabesp only said that there was waiver of bidding for contracting the specialized service.

The two privatization studies, of Sabesp and of the CPTM lines, had already been announced by Tarcísio on Monday (10th), during the balance of the 100 days in office.
