Government of Amapá and Abstartups select volunteers to work at Startup20 – News of Brazil

The Government of Amapá and the Brazilian Association of Startups (Abstartups) are selecting 30 volunteers to work, from February 23 to 26, in support activities at Startup20, an international event that will bring together authorities and representatives from the 20 largest economies in the world and the Union European Union, to debate solutions and socioeconomic challenges in the Amazon region. The meeting will be at the headquarters of the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), in Macapá.
People with basic English skills and a high level of proactivity can participate in the selection. To apply, you must also be available in the morning and afternoon.
Interested parties must register by this Tuesday (20), using the electronic form.
It is important to highlight that Startup20 is an event for representatives, authorities and guests accredited, in advance, by the meeting’s organizing committee.

The group, created under India’s presidency of the G20, works with the aim of raising social and economic concerns from different countries to the leaders of the world’s largest economies, connecting innovation ecosystems around the world.
In October, during the 52nd Expofeira do Amapá, representatives of the State Government signed a Letter of Intent that formalized the meeting on Amapá soil.
Currently, the organization’s members are: European Union, Brazil, United States, China, Canada, France, Argentina, Germany, Mexico, Indonesia, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Italy, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom and Turkey.
