Government holds workshops to prepare the new Multi-Year Plan

The Pluriannual Plan is the main medium-term planning instrument for government actions.
Manaus (AM) – The Government of Amazonas, through the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti), carried out, this Thursday (13), workshops for the elaboration of the 2024-2027 Pluriannual Plan (PPA), together with the bodies and secretariats of direct and indirect administration. The event, which started on Monday (10) and runs until Thursday (20), at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam), aims to guide technical teams of State Planning, by result area ( or thematic area), involved with the construction of the PPA.
The head of Sedecti’s Planning Department, Arlete Viana, received sectoral teams for the workshop for the elaboration of the new PPA and highlighted that, through the workshops, the theoretical basis is passed on, aiming at the correct application of the methodology that will make the new plan viable, in addition to recommendations and notes that should be improved.
“We want the bodies to be aligned and when entering these data, which will occur after these workshops, on August 3, they have their bills ready”,

A differential this year is that the Department of Statistics and Geoprocessing (Degeo) is participating more directly, clearly addressing the program’s indicators and objectives. In addition, the Budget Secretariat of the State Secretariat for Finance of Amazonas (Sefaz) was at the event giving some guidelines and clarifying doubts for when they are going to build the Annual Budget Law (LOA).
Other qualifications
From tomorrow (14) until Thursday (20) virtual meetings will take place to align with the teams of the Legislative and Judiciary powers, which also make up this tool.
PPA
The Pluriannual Plan is the main instrument for medium-term planning of government actions, covering the guidelines, objectives and targets of public administration in a regionalized manner. Clearly defining goals, priorities and expected results, in addition to organizing actions, providing transparency in the application of resources and the results obtained, are among the main objectives of the PPA.
Among the three guidelines of the Government of Amazonas for the next PPA are Quality of Life Sustainable Development and Modernization of Public Management.
