The federal government dismissed this Friday (20) the superintendent of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) of Piauí, Paulo Fernando Nunes Moreno. Appointed to the post by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), he was the last occupant of the position in the corporation that still remained in the post. All other PRF superintendents in the 25 states and the Federal District were dismissed yesterday by the new government. The replacements have not yet been announced.

In an extra edition of the Official Gazette on Thursday (19), the government also appointed delegate Cezar Luiz Busto de Souza as the new regional superintendent of the Federal Police in the Federal District. On Thursday (19) the government changed another 18 regional directors of the corporation and named their replacements. The list of new PF directors is made up of delegate Leandro Almada da Costa, who investigated the death of councilor Marielle Franco. He is now commanding the PF in Rio de Janeiro.
