Goalkeeper Gabriel starts training in a separate group at Coritiba

After asking to leave the club, the Coritiba decided that the goalkeeper Gabriel will train at alternative times at CT da Graciosa, alongside defender Kuscevic. The information was initially released by Nadja’s blog and confirmed by OneTwo Sports.

The request to leave was revealed by coach Guto Ferreira, on Sunday (28). Gabriel spoke to the Alviverde board on Saturday and asked to leave the team for emotional reasons.

“[Ele] felt pressured by the moment, he came to us, said he didn’t feel emotionally in a position to play and simply left training, went to look for the management and from that point on the situation is with the management”, explained the coach during a press conference, after the game.

Last Thursday (25), the goalkeeper was missed three times in the draw with Londrina, at Estádio do Café. In two games, he conceded four goals. The athlete will train separately until he receives a proposal from a club, which, according to the Alviverde board, has not yet happened.

Coxa agrees to release the athlete, but without paying any amount to the archer. Gabriel asks for the amount he would be entitled to until the end of the contract, valid until December 2026.

Without the number 1, the club will have Pedro Morisco as a starter, in addition to Benassi, who debuted in the victory against Operário, and Luan Polli, who was once again an option on the bench in the fourth round of the Paranaense Championship.
