The Glicério de Souza Marques Stadium will finally, after 10 years, host a football match from the Amapaense Football Championship, Amapazão. The match between Macapá and Oratório this Saturday (17th), at 4pm, will be the highlight of this return. According to the inspection carried out this year, the venue will be able to receive just over 900 people in the stands.

The Amapaense Football Federation (FAF) will inform the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) about the validation of the stadium reports and divide the matches between the Glicério Marques Stadium and Zerão, which will host the games.

The last game played at Glicério took place in 2014, the final of the Amapaense Football Championship, played between Santos and São Paulo, where Peixe da Amazônia was champion. In 2016, the place was closed for not meeting the rules of the Fan Statute.

The space was created in 1950 to honor the first president of the Amapá Sports Federation, Glicério de Souza Marques. In 2023, after undergoing several improvements, the stadium changed its name and is now a Sports Complex.
