It took place on the morning of this Monday, 15th, in the auditorium of Sebrae-AP, the program launch ceremony ‘FNDE coming along’. The ceremony was attended by the governor Clécio Luís and the president of the National Education Development Fund (FNDE), Fernanda Pacobahyba. Amapá is the first state to receive the program.

O FNDE arriving together offers technical assistance and assists in the management of resources aimed at education in the state and municipalities. Through lectures and individual consultations, managers will receive guidance to improve accountability monitoring with a focus on improving educational rates and results in the region.

The following authorities were present at the ceremony, in addition to the governor Clecio it’s from Fernanda Pacobahyba: state secretary of education, Sandra Casemiro; Karla Cristina, president of the Union of Municipal Education Directors; Carlos Sampaio, president of the Association of Mayors of the State of Amapá; and Iaci Pelaes, MPE education prosecutor, among others.

“It is a pioneering meeting that we modeled at the beginning of last year and which aims to embrace two important regions for the FNDE. One is the state of Amapá and the other is the region of Marajó, in Pará. We see a very large possibility of growth, coming together in the execution of resources. Improving the quality of food and school transport, we believe that there is an environment for this here”said the president Fernanda.

“The main purpose is to have the federal government, through the MEC, especially the FNDE, which is a source of education financing close to us; we really resent this distance and this program and the presence of the FNDE president here represents that; It’s about coming together, we need a helping hand to face the problems and challenges of education, which are many”, said the governor Clécio Luís.

Clecio said that the partnership with the FNDE will help resolve “chronic problems” of education and help with new challenges, citing the modernity of teaching spaces. “What the world demands of us obviously demands of students too; We are privileged to be the first state to have this experience with the FNDE”he concluded.
