Specific competence tests take place between December 11, 2023 and January 11, 2024. Test locations are available in the candidate’s area on the FUVEST website. In the second phase, candidates will take a Portuguese and writing test, and specific subjects according to their chosen career. The first list of approved candidates will be published on January 22nd. The first phase of the entrance exam was on November 19th. Dispute for vacancies In terms of total number of applicants for careers, Medicine in São Paulo leads the ranking, with 15,063 candidates, followed by Medicine in Ribeirão Preto with 6,324. In third place is Medicine in Bauru, with 3,362. In the list of candidates per vacancy, the medical career in São Paulo comes in first place, with an index of 117.7, followed by medicine in Ribeirão Preto, with 86.6 candidates per vacancy, and medicine in Bauru, with 78.2. In 2022, the system called Enem-USP came into effect, which will now carry out the selection of vacancies previously allocated to the Unified Selection System (Sisu).
