Action will bring together proposals prepared by elementary and high school students and will be delivered to the Ministers of Finance and Education
Manaus (AM) — Entries are open for Futuro em Pauta, a project that will bring together suggestions, ideas and possible solutions for some of the most urgent challenges facing the economy and education in Brazil, prepared by elementary and high school students from across the country. A final document with this material will be delivered, in August 2023, to the Ministers of Finance and Education (or their representatives).
Any public and private school in Amazonas, with elementary and/or high school students, can participate. Registration can be done through the link and is free.
The national initiative was launched by the newspapers Joca and Tino Econômico, published by Magia de Ler, a publisher specializing in the production of journalistic content for children and young people.
The Futuro em Pauta project aims to bring information to children and adolescents about the gaps and needs that exist in Brazil in terms of the economy and education, to stimulate debate on current data related to both topics, to enable students to reflect on the situation in the country based on some of the challenges presented, in addition to proposing suggestions that can be applied to improve these areas. The idea is that this exercise be carried out in public and private schools, leading young people to reflect, with the support of their educators.
“In this way, children and adolescents have the opportunity to participate effectively in the development of Brazil, sharing their ideas with the ministers of the areas and showing the perspective of youth on matters that affect them directly, as well as their expectations for the country in the future. next years”,
explains Stéphanie Habrich, executive director of the newspapers Joca and Tino Econômico.
