The Chamber of Deputies promoted this Thursday (23) the 1st Seminar on Ideological Indoctrination in Teaching, on the initiative of federal deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO). The event was attended by federal deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), Chris Tonietto (PL-RJ), Bia Kicis (PL-DF), Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) and Sílvia Waiãpi (PL-AP) and with professors Weverton Guimarães and Ten. Cel. Clecio Teles. “The origin of all evil is indoctrination. And my main mission as a congressman will be to show parents how indoctrination has alienated their children from their families and destroyed their minds,” said Gayer.

During the event, there were several reports from students and also from the veterinarian Karen Nery, creator of the Movement of Parents and Teachers attentive to Didactic Materials. Housewife Maria Paula, who even ran away from home to participate in invasions with leftist groups, also told her story.

Former president Jair Bolsonaro recorded a specific video for the meeting that was broadcast on site. According to Bolsonaro, indoctrination occurs “when a child goes to the classroom, in a space where he is hostage to a few teachers, and the teacher indoctrinates him with things we don’t want, and that the family doesn’t want”. that “young people cannot give up their freedom”.

In addition to promoting the event, deputy Gayer is trying to gather enough signatures to create the Parliamentary Front for Education without Ideological Indoctrination. With the initiative, the parliamentarian intends to follow up on complaints of ideological indoctrination in schools, raise awareness among parents, students and teachers and develop projects with solutions for extreme cases.
