Fronts and parties form a bloc against STF interference

Through an official note, the Agricultural Parliamentary Front (FPA) informed the creation of a bloc formed by 17 other parliamentary fronts and two parties against the constant interference of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) in issues that should be decided within the scope of the Power Legislative, and not through judicial decisions.
In the note, the group said it repudiates “the continued usurpation of jurisdiction by the Federal Supreme Court on issues such as drug legalization, decriminalization of abortion, property rights and self-defense, among others.”
After highlighting the importance of the Constitutional Court, the members of the bloc emphasized that they will not accept “any interference in the legislative prerogative of the National Congress” and that they will take “the appropriate measures to reestablish the balance between the Powers”.
