This second partnership between Francis and Ivan comes to life 40 years after the first, Mariana, a song written by Vitor Martins and released in 1984. In addition to the new song with Ivan Lins, Francis Hime intends to record compositions made with Geraldo Carneiro, Milton Nascimento, Moacyr Luz , Olivia Hime, Zé Renato – their first partnership – and Zélia Duncan. Entirely new, the repertoire will also feature Francis’s posthumous partnership with the writer and novelist Bráulio Pedroso (1931 – 1990). The album is expected to be recorded in June at the studio of the record company Biscoito Fino, in the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and that it will be released by Selo Sesc between October and November, when Francis will have celebrated his 85th birthday.
