Fortaleza uses shirt with blood marks to demand justice after attack – News of Brazil

Fortaleza once again demanded, this Sunday (10), justice for the attack suffered in the metropolitan region of Recife (PE).
Before the first duel of the Cearense Championship semifinal, against Maracanã-CE, the Leão do Pici players entered the field wearing a shirt printed with blood marks.
On February 21, the bus with the Tricolor delegation was hit by stones and a homemade bomb after leaving the Arena de Pernambuco, where they played against Sport in the Copa do Nordeste.
The uniform worn by the athletes this Sunday also had “1.5 centimeters” printed on the back. The number refers to the side Gonzalo Escobar, player who was hit in the head and narrowly escaped death.
“The action, which also included the technical committee wearing the shirt, reinforces the search for justice over the attempted murder that the Tricolor delegation suffered 18 days ago in the capital of Pernambuco, and which left six athletes injured. So far, no one has been arrested”says the note released by Fortaleza.
